TYPOLOGY COMPACT STATIONS
The pre-treatment station FCSDSFCDS type is a compact station that is able to carry out the filtration, washing and compaction of the screened material, the sand removal and the oil and grease removal, the washing and removal of sands. It finds its application in the pretreatment of the sewage coming from cesspools, Imhoff tanks and industrial plants, before being discharged in the treatment process. The station, completely closed to ensure the maximum hygiene and safety, consists of a first sewage collection tank, a shaftless screw filter FCS type (with shaft in FCDS model), and another sand removal tank, a screw for the longitudinal conveyance of the sands and a further screw classifier for the sand removal. The sewage entering the tank passes through a filtering screen in perforated steel plate of the screw filter and deposits on it the suspended solid matters and undergoes to micro-screening. The screened material is compacted by the screw filter while the filtered waters pass to the second collection tank where the passing speed allows the sands sedimentation. An aeration system allows the oil and grease flotation and keeps the organic material in suspension. The longitudinal conveyance screw carries over the settled sands to near the screw classifier and carries out a first washing with the water contained in the tank. A third inclined screw classifies and extracts the sands. On request, the equipment can be provided with a washing system of tanks, screened materials and a further washing system of sands by nozzles. On request, an automatic system can be supplied for the oil and greasy matter elimination; it consists of a separate storage zone inside the second tank and of an automatic extraction pump. The main characteristics of the equipment are: maximum efficiency in the solid-liquid separation and de-sanding and completely automatic operation controlled by PLC. Protection against overload is guaranteed by the electronic load limiting devices. The station is provided with an inlet flange; on request, it is also possible to have a pneumatic valve installed on the piping. The station is made completely in stainless steel. On request, it can be provided with a specific computerized equipment for the detection of the quantity and quality characteristics of the inlet sewage.
