SERECO factory based in Noci (BA), Italy, was subjected to a thorough verifica/on by SGS Italia in order
to demonstrate the compliance with the standards and finally achieve the cer/fica/ons EN ISO 3834-2
and UNI EN 1090-1 that integrates into the quality management system UNI EN ISO 9001 already
implemented in the company since long/me.
For EN ISO 3834-2 cer/fica/on, the sec/on 2 is the most complex of 3834 series and requires the
welding process to be carried out in the factory in accordance with quality standards that ensure the
efficiency and effec/veness of process costs and procedures as well as the safety of highly qualified
personnel involved and requires the compliance of qualified welding procedures (WPS) for assembled
construc/ons made of steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
The UNI EN 1090-1 cer/fica/on is the harmonized standard that meets the requirements for the CE
marking, according to European Regula/on no. 305/2011 (CPR, Construc/on Products Regula/on) of
steel and aluminum structures, with par/cular a0en/on to the qualifica/on documenta/on and the
effec/ve traceability of the products, and the expected acceptance tests.

In 2017 SERECO obtained EN ISO 3834-2

metallic materials.
